It’s now unclear whether Ohio will build any more of the federally funded charging stations, as President Donald Trump’s team has directed all states to halt new spending of the money.

The Trump administration is suspending federal funding for electric car chargers, following through on one of the president’s first directives to roll back subsidies for plug-in vehicles.

The Port of Long Beach celebrated the recent opening of a new electric truck charging station, with officials calling the facility the “largest port-based truck charging depot in the country.”

U.S. electric vehicles got a record 766 new high-speed charging stations to plug into in the fourth quarter, with the uptick being driven by retailers.
