The Patton Logistics Group announced a $10 million expansion in Virginia, which will add a 100,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution facility to the company’s footprint in the state.

As many as 350 staff will be laid off in early April at Volvo Trucks North America’s New River Valley assembly plant in Dublin, Va., a Volvo Group representative told Transport Topics.

Two logistics projects and six proposed business development sites will receive state funds from a $2.5 million package of 21 grants that Virginia recently awarded.
