BERLIN — Volkswagen is seeking damages from two former top executives for their role in the diesel emissions scandal that cost the German automaker billions of euros and a hefty dent in its reputation.

Isuzu Commercial Truck of America Inc. unveiled what it called major changes intended to enhance its 2022 interim model year N-Series diesel trucks.

The Energy Information Administration reported Jan. 25 the national average price of diesel rose by two cents to $2.716 a gallon.

The U.S. average retail price of diesel rose 1.6 cents to $2.635 a gallon and notched a new nine-month high after first reaching that peak a week earlier, the Energy Information Administration reported Dec. 28. The average price of diesel was $2.659 on March 23.
