Natso, which represents truck stops and other groups, said it has selected Tom Heinz, president of Coffee Cup Fuel Stop & Convenience Stores, as its 2013 chairman.

Natso said last week it had rejected a settlement offer from major banks and credit card networks to end a lawsuit involving credit card swipe fees, saying it does not go far enough to reform a “broken system.”

Natso, the truck stop operator association, has rejected a proposed settlement of an antitrust lawsuit alleging that Visa, MasterCard and national banks colluded to set artificially high swipe fees, the association said Monday.
