Well-heeled workers that live in the New York City suburbs will soon have a lofty path to avoiding gridlock en route to their Manhattan offices.

NEW YORK — Electric vehicle demand is expected to keep rising this year, but uncertainty over policy changes and tariffs is clouding the forecast.

Automakers pulled out all the stops to showcase their latest advances for in-vehicle experiences at CES, the Consumer Technology Association’s annual trade show of all things tech.

XIAMEN, China — The world’s largest maker of batteries for electric vehicles said Dec. 18 it will get into battery swapping in China in a big way starting next year.
