Used Class 8 truck sales in March rose 7.4% compared with the same period the prior year, ACT Research reported. Sales increased to 21,700 units from 20,200 during the 2023 period.

Used Class 8 truck sales rose just shy of 2% year-over-year in November to 20,500 units from 20,100 vehicles, ACT Research reported.

Used Class 8 truck sales in October increased 7% year-over-year to 21,500 units from 20,100 units, ACT Research reported.

Sales of used Class 8 trucks in September declined at a modest clip compared with year-ago levels, but the prices paid for those trucks took a far steeper drop, ACT Research reported.

Used Class 8 truck sales rose 4.65% in August to 22,500 from 21,500, the first year-over-year increase since November, according to the latest data from ACT Research.

Used Class 8 sales in July decreased 9.3% year-over-year to 19,500 units from 21,500, ACT Research reported.

Used Class 8 truck sales in May decreased 4.9% year-over-year to 19,300 units from 20,300, ACT Research reported.

Used Class 8 sales in the U.S. were down again in September, the average retail price fell, too, and likely steeper declines are ahead, ACT Research reported.

The average retail price in August of a used Class 8 vehicle was much higher compared with a year earlier but less than the month before, extending a trend, ACT Research reported.

The average used Class 8 retail sales price in April soared compared with a year earlier, as expected. But a closer vantage point showed it fell month-over-month for just the second time since July 2020, ACT Research reported.
