Transportation software firm Xata Corp. said Wednesday it lost $712,000, or 8 cents a share, in its fiscal third quarter, compared with a loss of $1.6 million, or 21 cents, a year ago.
Sales about doubled to $16.2 million for the quarter ended June 30, compared with $8 million last year, the company said in a statement.
The company reported an 84% increase in its Xatanet platform and said it acquired 15 new customers in the quarter.
Geologic Solutions MobileMax sales represented approximately $5.3 million of the total revenue, said Xata, which acquired GeoLogic Solutions in February.
