Oil rose but remained under $95 in early trading Monday on the New York Mercantile Exchange, Bloomberg reported.
Crude futures increased 64 cents to $94.17 a barrel after closing at $93.53 on Friday, Bloomberg figures showed.
Oil fell as low as $92.52 on Friday, the lowest price since Nov. 3, Bloomberg reported.
Oil has finished under $95 on the Nymex each day since Wednesday, when it fell to $94.95 from a $100.14 closing price on Tuesday.
The Department of Energy will release its weekly report on national and regional diesel and gasoline prices Monday afternoon in Washington.
