The average national price of retail diesel fuel fell 2.3 cents to $2.476 a gallon, the Energy Department reported Monday.

Intermodal growth rose 5.5% in the fourth quarter, marking the 15th straight quarter of growth, the Intermodal Association of North America said late Monday.
