GREENSBORO, N.C. — Volvo Trucks North America has launched a program to tap into the stream of data each of its trucks creates to help fleets measure their vehicles’ fuel efficiency performance.

The Department of Transportation is making $679 million available to states to cover costs incurred to repair roads and bridges damaged by “a variety of natural emergencies and catastrophic events.”
