FMCSA Statement on Appeal of HOS Rules
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has filed a motion with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit seeking to stay further action in Public Citizen Et. Al v. Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Staying the court's decision would allow the agency time to address and to correct the concerns of the court about the new hours-of-service rule.

ATA Statement on Filing of Motion in HOS Case
ATA filed a motion with the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit Aug. 30 asking it for an indefinite stay of the effective date of its decision overturning the current hours-of-service regulations. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration filed a similar stay request on the same date.
