Freight railroad CSX Transportation said it has entered into an agreement with the state of Kentucky under which state law enforcement officials will be able to track the location of CSX trains and monitor the contents of the carrier’s railcars.

Foster-Miller Inc. said Tuesday it was awarded a $396,000 contract from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration to develop an automated system to help long-haul truckers find available parking.
