Trigo Group, a company based in France that provides inspection, quality training and consulting services to manufacturing firms throughout the world, has made two recent acquisitions in the United States.

MNX Global Logistics, a company that arranges for expedited delivery of pharmaceuticals and other high-value goods, has a new owner. Boston-based Audax Private Equity announced July 10 the acquisition of MNX from The Riverside Co.

The logistics supply chain had a strong 2017 with a healthy economy revving up demand that led to tight capacity that gave carriers the authority to raise prices with shippers, according to the 29th Annual Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals State of Logistics Report.

The average salary for supply chain professionals in 2017 was $85,210, and nearly all say they are highly satisfied with their jobs, according to a salary survey by APICS, the association for supply chain management.
