Truck dealership Rush Enterprises reported first-quarter revenue and net income year-over-year fell in the first quarter ended March 31, to $1.1 billion and $2.4 million, respectively, or 6 cents per diluted share.

Rush Enterprises Inc., a multistate network of truck dealerships and related services, reported third-quarter net income fell 15% year-over year as sharp declines in the energy sector cut into sales of related Class 8 trucks and aftermarket services.

DALLAS — Rush Enterprises on May 4 announced a new venture, Momentum Fuel Technologies, that will  manufacture, sell, install and service a new lightweight compressed natural gas fuel system for Class 6-8 trucks.
