Clean Energy Fuels Corp. on Monday said it has signed an agreement with tank truck carrier Green Energy Oilfield Services to build and supply a new liquefied natural gas fueling station in Texas.

According to analysts at a transportation research organization, the industry is facing an increasingly acute shortage of drivers — as many as 135,000 this year.

Well, it appears that trucking has at least made some progress in getting Congress to address some of the issues that are impeding the industry’s efforts to deliver the nation’s freight.
