Swiss Trucks Stay on Road Despite Environmentally Inspired Tax

Switzerland’s environmentally inspired road tax, which went into effect Jan. 1, is not doing what it was intended to do — take trucks off the road. It is, however, contributing to an upgrading of the country’s truck fleet.
