ilson Logistics Group, which was acquired by TNT Logistics North America in August, changed its name to TNT Freight Management, TNT said Thursday.

As part of the logistics division, TNT said the unit will support the parent company’s ability to offer customers one partner for supply chain challenges worldwide.

“The name TNT, a strong and global brand, will give higher visibility and credibility worldwide,” said Andy Schaefer, TNT Freight Management’s chief executive officer.

Netherlands-based TNT N.V., the holding company of TNT Logistics North America, recently re-branded from TPG to TNT. Ultimately, the company said, TNT will operate globally under the TNT brand for all its activities.

TNT Logistics North America is ranked No. 7 on the Transport Topics Logistics 50 listing of North American logistics companies.
