P.A.M.'s Board Authorizes Stock Repurchase

ruckload carrier P.A.M. Transportation Services Inc. said late Monday its board of directors had authorized the company to repurchase up to 600,000 shares of its common stock over the next six months.

The company said in a statement shares could be purchased in either open market or privately negotiated transactions.

P.A.M. is ranked No. 65 on the Transport Topics 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian trucking companies.

It previously said it earned $1.8 million or 16 cents per share in the fourth quarter on operating revenues, excluding fuel surcharges, of $77.5 million.
