Frozen Food Express Sells AirPro Subsidiary
rozen Food Express Industries Inc. said Wednesday it agreed to sell AirPro, its remaining non-freight business, to a newly created limited partnership company.
Terms of the sale, to AirPro Mobile Air LLC, were not disclosed. AirPro is a distributor of motor vehicle air conditioning parts and systems, based in Mesquite, Texas.
FFE said it did not expect the transaction to have a significant impact on its 2005 earnings. For the first quarter, AirPro’s operating income was “negligible,” the company said.
FFE is ranked No. 44 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
