Estes Express Acquires 100% of G.I. Trucking
stes Express Lines said Thursday it had acquired all the assets of Los Angeles-based carrier G.I. Trucking, effectively expanding Estes’ territory from coast-to-coast.
The companies did not disclose the amount of the deal but said they already had a strong relationship through their 10-year-old, less-than-truckload network, ExpressLink.
Estes, Richmond, Va., has jointly owned G.I. Trucking since 2001, when Estes and G.I.’s management bought G.I. Trucking from then-owner Arkansas Best Corp.
