Delphi Delays Legal Move to Void Union Contracts
arts manufacturer Delphi, which has filed bankruptcy, will delay asking a bankruptcy court to terminate its union contracts for at least a month, the Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday.
Delphi is trying to avoid making legal moves to void union contracts while it tries to negotiate lower wage contracts out of court, the Journal said.
Delphi also received a boost from former parent General Motors when the automaker said it would temporarily forego previously agreed-to reductions component prices, the paper reported.
