Bush to Seek Energy Conservation, Mineta Says
According to a report from Reuters, Mineta said increased power production and distribution means, like more power lines, are the first two prongs of the four-part strategy.
The others, he said, are conservation and the environment.
Speaking at San Francisco International Airport on Saturday, where he outlined an expanded program for alternate fuel vehicles at airports under which spending would be raised from $1.7 million to $20 million, Mineta called the president a good listener.
Bush said Saturday in his weekly radio address that he wants to conserve energy.
