ATA Conference to Feature Judd, Palmer, Gingrich
They will all be appearing at the American Trucking Associations Management Conference & Exhibition from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3 in Orlando, Fla.
As trucking positions itself to enter the new millennium, weve taken special care to ensure this years MC&E gives members the best possible tools to ensure their continued growth and success, said Julie T. Prazmark, senior vice president for membership.
More than 4,000 trucking executives are expected to gather at the conference, which will include a debate between Gingrich, the former House speaker, and McCurry, the former White House press secretary. The debate will take place Nov. 3 during ATAs general membership meeting.
ATA President Walter B. McCormick Jr. will open the meeting with a Nov. 1 speech titled The Future Is Now, discussing the challenges facing the industry as it enters the 21st century. ATAs policy committees and board of directors will also meet before and during the conference.
