WASHINGTON — Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC demonstrated here the automatic braking system for heavy-duty trucks it will offer starting in the fourth quarter.

Heavy-duty components maker ArvinMeritor Inc. said it will buy Trucktechnic, a Belgium-based remanufacturer and distributor of commercial vehicle disc and foundation brakes and components.
