Two former top executives for now-defunct Celadon Group Inc. have agreed to an undisclosed court settlement with the Securities and Exchange Commission in connection with civil fraud allegations dating to 2019.

A fraud prosecution of two former executives of now-defunct Celadon Group Inc. that has lingered in the courts for nearly three years has been dismissed at the request of the U.S. government amid allegations of inaccurate statements by an FBI agent working on the case.

According to bankruptcy court documents, P.A.M. Transportation Services Inc. is seeking to purchase a trucking terminal and property in Laredo, Texas, that is owned by Celadon Group.

STG Logistics has hired Paul Svindland as CEO, the Chicago-based company announced Jan. 28.

An agreement has been reached to sell the last remaining operating trucking company, Taylor Express, that is part of the now-bankrupt Celadon Group of Indianapolis.

Celadon Group on Dec. 10 appeared in a federal bankruptcy court in Wilmington, Del., the day after it announced plans to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy and wind down its operations under the weight of huge debt obligations and a weakening trucking market.
