Wabash Appoints Richard Giromini CEO, Effective Jan. 1

railer maker Wabash National Corp. said its board named Richard Giromini its new chief executive officer, effective Jan. 1.

Giromini, 53, currently chief operating officer, will replace current CEO Bill Greubel, who will remain with the company as executive director and chairman, Wabash said late Thursday.

Giromini, joined Wabash National in 2002 as COO. In 2005, he was appointed president and COO and was named a member of the company’s board.

Prior to Wabash, Giromini was senior vice president of technology for Accuride Corp.
