tility Trailer Manufacturing Co. said Wednesday it has expanded its Marion, Va., refrigerated trailer manufacturing plant to meet growing demand.
The $18 million expansion incorporates “moving assembly lines” will double the capacity of the plant by next year 2007, Utility said in a statement.
It said the expansion would add 150 new jobs.
In addition to the Marion facility, Utility, which is based in City of Industry, Calif., also maintains a dry van manufacturing facility in Washington County, Va.
