ruckload carrier USA Truck said Thursday its second-quarter net income rose to a record $4.4 million, from $4.3 million a year earlier. Earnings per share fell to 38 cents from 45 cents in the previous second quarter.
Revenue including fuel surcharges rose 6.5% to $99.6 million.USA Truck is ranked No. 55 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of the largest U.S. and Canadian trucking companies.
