Universal Express Acquires Airport Alliance

ransportation and logistics firm Universal Express said Wednesday it has acquired luggage delivery company Airport Alliance.

Airport Alliance, which is based out of Miami International Airport, delivers luggage lost by airline carriers to its owners, Universal Express said in a statement.

In June, Universal Express acquired Global Trucking, a luggage delivery company that also operates out of Miami International Airport. Universal later rebranded the carrier Luggage Express Found. (Click here for previous coverage.)

Universal Express said it would integrate Airport Alliance’s operations into Luggage Express Found.
