Truckers Not Finding Relief in Slowly Recovering Economy

At Schneider National, the nation’s largest truckload carrier, Vice President for Customer Service Dave Geyer said the carrier has noticed some gains but that freight trends remain mixed. “The economy still isn’t strong,” he said. “Back in December, we made our plans based on a worst-case scenario and, fortunately, we’ve managed to exceed that,” said Geyer.
