Canadian transportation firm TransForce Inc. said its second-quarter net income rose 30%, boosted by acquisitions.
Net income rose to C$34.1 million, or 34 cents per share, from C$26.2 million, or 27 cents, a year earlier. Adjusted net income spiked 45% to C$37.8 million.
Revenue rose 25% to C$812 million, boosted by acquisitions, the Montreal-based trucking and logistics company said.
TransForce Inc. is ranked No. 8 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
