anadian transportation and logistics firm TransForce Income Fund said Monday it had completed the acquisition of Groupe Gregoire Inc.

Transforce said Groupe GrDegoire is a Canadian company specializing in transborder trucking, but also provides bulk hauling services to customers in Canada and the United States. It has 300 employees, 45 owner-operators and owns 245 trucks and 600 trailers, Transforce said.

"Groupe GrDegoire enhances our capability in the growing transborder business," said Alain Bedard, Transforce chairman and chief executive officer.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Transforce is ranked No. 35 on the Transport Topics 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian trucking companies.
