PHILADELPHIA (AP) - As Wawa Food Market's truck drivers prepared to enter their second week of striking Sunday, several Philadelphia council members rallied to support the Teamster's union calling for good-faith contract bargaining talks from their employer.

Council members Rick Mariano, David Cohen, Frank Rizzo Jr. and Angel Ortiz said they will introduce a resolution Thursday calling for Wawa to go back to the bargaining table.

The two sides last met for about an hour Thursday. Talks are expected to resume sometime this week. Neither the Teamsters or Wawa could be immediately reached for comment Sunday.

Also this weekend, five Teamsters' members on strike were arrested at the Granite Run Mall in Middletown, Delaware County after they were asked to leave and didn't, said state police Cpl.

onathan Chen. The union members were charged Saturday with criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct, he said.

In a statement released by Teamsters Local 463, they said, "We have a right to tell people our side without management setting the authorities on us."

Wawa has 510 stores in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia and Maryland.
