Talks Go Down to the Wire in West Coast Port Dispute

The contract between the International Longshore and Warehouse Union and the Pacific Maritime Association, which represents West Coast terminal operators, was set to expire July 1 at 5 p.m.
With talks at press time going down to the wire, truckers and shippers could only wait and hope that an agreement would be reached.
