Energy executive T. Boone Pickens will be the keynote speaker at American Trucking Associations’ Natural Gas in Trucking Summit in November, ATA said Wednesday.

Pickens,��Chairman and CEO of BP Capital, which operates energy-focused commodity and equity funds, will discuss the future of natural gas in a session called “The Transformation of America’s Energy Future.”��

“We are thrilled to have Mr. Pickens’ share his views on natural gas,” ATA President Bill Graves said, calling him “a true pioneer in the energy field.”

. It will be��held Nov. 28-30 in Arlington, Va.

and general registration will begin on Aug. 1, the group said.

ATA also announced the summit’s first three major corporate sponsors: Clean Energy Fuels Corp., Freightliner Trucks and TravelCenters of America.
