Steven Gast Named New Penn Motor Express’ CEO

RC Regional Transportation said Friday it named Steven Gast the Chief Executive Officer of regional less-than-truckload line New Penn Motor Express, Lebanon, Pa.

Gast joined New Penn in 1997 and has served as vice president of corporate planning and vice president of Finance and administration.

Prior to joining New Penn, he held a variety of executive positions with other regional transportation providers in the Northeast.

Stephen O’Kane, formerly New Penn’s president, was named president of LTL regional carrier A. Duie Pyle on Wednesday, effective next month.

RC Regional Transportation is a subsidiary of YRC Worldwide, formerly Yellow Roadway Corp., No. 3 on the 2005 Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
