iriComm, Joplin, Mo., said it has started offering Maptuit Inc.’s FleetNav Express mapping software at its Wi-Fi locations.

The company said in a statement it will offer a bundled services package that includes FleetNav Express. David Mendez, executive vice president of sales and marketing, said the agreement can serve as an incentive for truck drivers to access its WiFi network.

“Having the ability to access mapping software is becoming increasingly important for drivers as they seek the best routes,” he told Transport Topics.

The FleetNav Express online, subscription-based service also provides drivers with the ability to find routes that minimize costs and fuel consumption, SiriComm said.
