he Senate last week confirmed a host of federal transportation officials, including Richard Capka to be administrator of the Federal Highway Administration.
Prior to its Memorial Day recess, the Senate also confirmed:
• Nicole Nason, Administrator of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration;
• Roger Shane Kerr, an assistant secretary of Transportation;
• Tyler Duvall, an assistant secretary of Transportation;
• Thomas Barrett, administrator of the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration within the Department of Transportation;
• Ralph Basham, Commissioner of Customs, Department of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍøland Security;
• Rob Portman, director of the Office of Management and Budget; and
• Idaho Governor Dirk Kempthorne (R), as Secretary of the Interior.
