Ryder Wins Contract With New York Post

yder System Inc. said it won a contract from the New York Post to support distribution of the newspaper to the New York metropolitan area.

Under a multi-year agreement, Ryder will provide a turnkey transportation package that includes 150 customized vehicles, fleet management, and preventive and programmed maintenance services.

Ryder said it would help the Post improve its transportation efficiency and delivery timeliness with a combination of specially designed trucks and equipment.

The New York Post, a division of News Corp., is the sixth largest daily newspaper in the United States, with a daily circulation of 680,000.

Ryder is ranked No. 5 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
