anther Expedited Services said it has added flatbed capacity to its Panther Elite Services Group, which will specialize in the expedited movement of standard and oversized flatbed loads.

Panther Elite’s flatbed service will allow transport of freight that must be loaded by a crane or from the top or side, the company said in a statement.

The service also provides security including escorts, dual-driver protection, surveillance and satellite tracking by Qualcomm.

“We’ve given our Panther Elite Services team broad training in the expedited movement of oversized loads and in meeting other specialized requirements,” said Panther Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Daniel Sokolowski.

Panther, Seville, Ohio, has a 100% owner-operated network of more than 1,300 trucks.
