Panel Makes No Decisions on Driver Distractions

How technology relates to driver distraction is a complex problem, Holland said. Many things unrelated to technology can distract drivers. At the same time, the advent of so many new technologies intended to improve safety and to entertain and communicate with drivers creates a potential for information overload.
