Pacer International’s second-quarter net income fell, as its intermodal and logistics margins declined from a year ago.
Net income fell to $1.3 million, or 4 cents a share, from $4.2 million, or 12 cents, a year ago.
Sales dropped to $368.3 million from $386.3 million, the company said Thursday.
Intermodal revenue improved or 1% to $306.8 million, while margins fell $5.6 million to $27.7 million.
Logistics revenue fell 20.7% to $61.8 million, while margins fell $2.1 million to $10 million.
