"Oklahoma will protect itself and its citizens," Patrick M. Ryan, an attorney for the Oklahoma Tax Commission, said in a statement last month.
The lawsuit, filed Dec. 19 by the commission in the U.S. District Court in Oklahoma City, seeks to stop the International Registration Plan from implementing sanctions that group had imposed on Oklahoma in November.
