NYC Considers Toughening Truck Route Enforcement

The plan, which would require drivers to carry certain types of maps or face steep fines, drew complaints from the trucking industry.
"This is lunacy," Michael J. Riley, president of the Motor Transport Association of Connecticut, said in an interview with Transport Topics. "They have no idea how the trucking industry works."
