Navistar Reportedly May Be Open to Buyout Offers
avistar International Corp.’s top official said Friday that the company, which has been struggling to get its financial statements on schedule, may be open to buyout offers, Reuters reported.
Navistar Chief Executive officer Daniel Ustian made the comment after an analyst asked during a conference call whether any parties had expressed interest in helping management take the company private, Reuters said.
Ustian would not say whether the company had been approached, Reuters reported.
Navistar is the parent company of truck and engine manufacturer International Truck and Engine Corp.
