Mullen Closes British Columbia Acquisition

anadian company Mullen Transportation Inc. said Monday it had closed its acquisition of Tenold Transportation Inc., a private carrier based in British Columbia.

Tenold, a truckload and less-than-truckload carrier with 125 owner-operator trucks, will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Mullen.

The company announced the deal April 1, though terms were not disclosed.

Tenold runs flatbeds in the United States and Canada and provides logistics and warehousing services, Mullen said in a statement.

Mullen said Tenold’s senior management will remain with the company to oversee its ongoing operations.

Mullen is ranked No. 63 on the Transport Topics 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian trucking companies.
