Monster.com Pays for TV Ad To Promote Trucking’s Image

       | Editorial Directorimg src="/sites/default/files/images/articles/printeditiontag_new.gif" width=120 align=right>Monster.com, an online job-matching service whose controversial television commercial early this year prompted protests from trucking groups, has now produced a pro-trucking advertisement that will air on cable television this week, American Trucking Associations announced.
Monster funded the 30-second spot and also paid nearly $60,000 in costs, ATA spokesman Mike Russell said. ATA co-produced the ad with the Truckload Carriers Association.
"This is a significant event for the image of the trucking industry," Russell said.
