McLeod Software has acquired Enterprise Information Solutions Inc., a software firm specializing in the less-than-truckload market, the companies jointly announced.
McLeod said it will integrate the EIS product with its existing LoadMaster enterprise software to create LoadMaster LTL, McLeods first dedicated offering for the LTL sector. The product should be available early next year, said Tom McLeod, CEO of McLeod Software.
Weve historically primarily served the truckload market, McLeod said. This deal will allow us to serve more transportation carriers.
