Marten Transport said its third-quarter profit 57.9% as its logistics and regional revenue improved.
Net income rose to $5.5 million, or 25 cents per share, from $3.5 million, or 16 cents, a year ago.
Revenue from truckload and logistics operations rose to $128.7 million, from $129.4 million a year ago, the refrigerated truckload carrier said late Tuesday.
Logistics revenue net of intermodal fuel surcharges rose by $1.1 million in the quarter, to $28.5 million.
