Hub Group Net Income Jumps in Second Quarter

hird-party logistics provider Hub Group Inc. reported late Thursday that its net income increased to $12.5 million, or 30 cents a share, up from $7.9 million or 19 cents a share last year.

Revenue rose 9.2% to $395.3 million, compared with $361.8 million in 2005, the company said in a statement.

Intermodal revenue rose 10.2% to $285.8 million, the group said.

Truckload brokerage revenue rose 14.9% to $78.1 million, while logistics revenue declined 9.4% to $31.4 million.
